Sample Persuasive Speech on War Is a Female Game

It seems that the time of sexual prejudice and discrimination, when war and military service were thought to be a purely male affair, has long become a thing in the past, giving women a freedom to choose such a career. However, if you consider this issue seriously, you will be surprised to find that an idea of a woman joining the army is still met with lots of raised eyebrows.

Many people still believe that women cannot be effective soldiers and are unable to take part in military actions. Personally I firmly believe the society would benefit a lot if military forces managed to substitute as much as 50% of their military personnel with women.

On the one hand, women are definitely less aggressive and gentler than men. Many would contradict that it is more of a disadvantage for a soldier. But actually, the feature of being naturally tolerant is important: while taking part in military actions, women do not get blinded with rage and only perform the actions which are necessary. Women have respect for authority and, thus, are more likely to follow the orders accurately and precisely.

On the other hand, being physically weaker than men, women rely more upon their mental abilities and never perform unnecessary, stupid or unjustified actions. They also have better developed concentration and patience, which turns them into unrivalled snipers.
